Mother’s Day Trunk Show at Camille’s

Today was the big day! It was fabulous. Lots of friends stopped by and shopped. Camille’s house was decorated in pink and green and it was so festive.

My friend Laura’s new line, Alphabet Plates, were on display. They are adorable and I will be posting about them next week when her website goes live.

I sold a bunch of these long gold filled chain necklaces with Swarovski crystals. they are $65 and look fabulous doubled up.

Camille ordered Misha’s Cupcakes with a K on them. So cute and yummy.

Meg brought Ashley and she met up with her boyfriend James. They were so excited to see each other and then he leaned in and gave her her first kiss. It was so cute.

Meg, me and Allison Holly, one of my most loyal and favorite customers.

Girls shopping! I had the best day. Thank you so much Camille. I love you!

Trunk Show Tomorrow

I don’t think I can make another piece of jewelry for this show! My fingers are truly sore. I set up tonight at Camille’s house and everything looks adorable. We are officially ready for tomorrow. The last show I had in Miami was at my old house before I moved, so it has been over a year! Hopefully, lots of people will stop by and I will make some sales.

I will post pics in the afternoon, can’t wait to share. Camille really went all out getting ready-everything is pink and green! Wish me luck!

I am L O V I N G American Idol

If I had to, I don’t think I could pick one winner from tonight’s show. Everyone was fantastic! I love the standards and each one was better than the next. Danny Gokey possibly was my favorite. I also thought Jamie Foxx was a great mentor. So, in the spirit of my Idol Mania, I had to post another favorite Idol performance. This is Kelly Clarkson’s singing on the same night for Season 1. She is so amazing and, I think, the best Idol yet-Kelly Underwood a close second!

Suri Cruise

I think I am obsessed with Suri Cruise. Is it her unbelievable wardrobe? Who knows, I just get such a kick out of her. This picture made me truly LOL. She looks so cute making a break for it, her dad looks so cute (I have always been a Tom Cruise fan) running after her. Where’s Katie??? When are they having another baby? I have so many questions…

I have to go, Gossip Girl is about to start!

Monogram Momma is Back!

The very first blog I ever read, Monogram Momma, has been on a little break since the holidays and MM completely immersed herself in Twitterland. Now, she is back! I am so happy, I hated seeing her blog at the end of my list with no recent posts. Welcome Back!!! If you haven’t checked her out, click here..she has a fresh new look, it is super cute.

Big Week Ahead

I got a very exciting invitation this weekend. Next Thursday, I will be attending a book signing party for Jill Kargman’s new book, The Ex Mrs. Hedge Fund. I ordered my copy from Amazon and it should be arriving any minute. I can’t wait for the party.

Earlier that day, I am having a trunk show at my friend Camille’s home. I haven’t had my own show in town for quite a while, so I am excited about it. I have a bunch of new things and am showing a new line of personalized melamine plates that a friend of mine has designed. When her website launches next week, I will post about it. Her plates are really the cutest things I have seen in a long time. Anyway, if anyone local is interested in attending my show, please let me know and I will forward the information.

*I am watching an old episode of Mad Men on AMC and am wondering when new episodes are coming??? Does anyone know? Also, what happened to Dirty Sexy Money? I thought that show was coming back! So frustrating!!!!!

Spring Swap Package

I got a beautiful swap package from my partner Holly from Pink is My Signature Color. Lots of yummy candy wrapped with pink bows, the DVD Nights in Rodanthe-which I have not seen-so excited, a book, an adorable pillow, monogrammed key fob, scented candle and a tervis tumbler. I love these swaps, it is really fun! Thanks so much Holly!

40 and Fabulous

This morning, I attended a 40th Birthday Champagne Brunch for my friend Jennifer. It was held at our friend Angela’s house, which is one of the most beautiful homes in Miami. I asked her if I could shoot some pics and she said yes, so I am posting them for good decorating ideas. She has one of those houses that manages to look perfectly decorated yet very comfortable and welcoming. It was a lovely brunch!
