Well, I finally opened my website and it is up and running! A handful of orders have come through and it is so exciting. Every night I add more items and this weekend I will go back through and fix and tweak what doesn’t look perfect. Here is a peek:
These are just some of the cute things on my site.
Check it out!
I finally got to work on my site adding products. Since I haven’t had a photo shoot yet, I added products that I already had picture of.
This is the home page…
The bottom of the home page…
I added a few of my new clutch purses…
Cute tassel necklaces…
After the Tour of Kitchens this Saturday, I will be working on adding more. I might open up my site not finished and without personalized items until my website dudes help me figure out how to add them. This is not the easiest project-which is why it was easy for me to put it on hold for so long.
Keep an eye out for a website announcement soon!
A few months ago, I decided to finally work on my re-branding for my business. I knew I wanted to change everything from my logo and packaging and everything in between. The branding guru these days is Emily McCarthy
. She is out of Savannah and if you check out her website
, her growing list of branding clientele is truly spectacular. By the time I had my first phone call with her to discuss what I wanted, I think I must have logged 50 hours looking at her logo client page. Our first phone call was quick and it felt like I was talking to one of my friends, she is so nice and had great suggestions. The biggest one was to change my base color to kelly green. I love green (usually mixed with pink) but this would give me some flexibility with my packaging, being able to mix different color ribbon depending on my situation. We ran with green and soon I had my first logo proof. Several proofs down the road, she came up with this one-which I am in love with. Before you ask why two k’s and not kp, we tried and tried and it just didn’t work. I have started getting things printed and everything looks amazing.
The custom ribbon is so fun. I can’t wait to get the white with gold and the pink made up!
The shopping bag with the logo in gold is one of my favorite parts of the package. I am researching now where to order these from…and the wrapping paper- I die over this. I might use this pattern for custom tissue paper. I love it all!!!!
Check out a sneak peek of my new website…
I am still working on it and am about to start loading up products. My goal is to unveil in August.
Exciting things happening these days,
I am bracing myself for the craziness next week. My two biggest shows are one day apart. On Tuesday, I will be at St. Philips Episcopal and on Wednesday, St. Thomas Episcopal. So scary..I will be making stuff all weekend. Anyone who wants to come sit and talk to me while I work could get some fun treats.
In honor of Veterans Day and my very exciting day off tomorrow, I am offering a 20% Veterans Day discount on my website
. The code is BigDaddy
and named for my Grandfather who was a Colonel in the Marine Corps. This code is good today through Monday the 14th. Happy Shopping!
Clairebella, one of my favorite vendors just added two new patterns to their collection, Ikat and Preppy. They are both so great..I am loving the navy Ikat and the Charleston Preppy patterns. It seems all my vendors have come out with new things for the Fall, I will be sharing as they come my way.
To celebrate the start of summer..I am offering 20% off purchases on my website this weekend. Starting now and ending midnight on Sunday, use code JUNE for the discount.
Well my condo search hit a snag on Monday when I found out the short sale I was dying for fell through. What a frustrating process! Last week, I saw a condo in my current building for sale as a foreclosure. I saw it Thursday before I left, decided to make an offer Sunday, got the offer in by 1pm Monday and found out today they accepted my offer!!!! I can’t believe it! It has some design challenges but all in all, a great condo.. Will keep you posted on my progress.
I still haven’t recovered from Christmas weekend but am extending my website sale until January 1st. Save 25% with code AFTERXMAS on http://www.kristinpearce.com
Merry Christmas to everyone!!!
What a fun time. My whole family is here at my parents. Lots of wonderful gifts, some planned, some unexpected. My parents got me a flat screen tv, which will look great hung in my new condo, if that ever works out. My biggest surprise was this painting from my niece. She is quite the artist and this will fit perfectly in my apartment.
Another surprise was waiting for me when I arrived here. My Mom gave me back all my old Christmas art from my childhood. Even though they live in a large house with two people and I am in an apartment with limited storage, she is determined to get rid of all my things! I will put these in a scrapbook to keep. They have held up remarkably well for so many years!
Tomorrow, I am having an after Christmas sale on my website. I figured out the coupon code finally! Enter code AFTERXMAS for 25% off everything on http://www.kristinpearce.com/!!!!! Code good through Tuesday, December 28th.
If you haven’t opened a website..I have to tell you, it’s exhausting! I put so many items on initially but then realized that I had to change certain attributes and so I spent all weekend sitting on my couch fixing everything, and I am not 100% sure I am done! I am certainly not done adding items, I feel like I have barely scratched the surface on that front. I have been adding more things every night.
For all of July, I am extending free
regular shipping for all items, so if you haven’t taken a peek, click here
and you can see what all my fuss is about!
